NATUURLIJK ZEEMAN

"Natuurlijk Zeeman" is the title of the concept that I came up with during my study at Academie Artemis. The assignment was to create a stuffed animal for the Dutch company De Zeeman. In addition to this, I started a material research and designed a fashion collection.

The collection is made of 100% organic cotton and dyed with natural dyes, which makes the collection biodegradable. The natural dyes are made from three different kinds of leaves. Bay leaves, holly and hazel.  Natural dyed fabrics are better for the health of the producer but also for the wearer, when we wear chemical dyed clothing chemicals can be spread on our skin.
