ABOUT

" The story behind my work always plays a significant role and serves as a constant source of inspiration. My work can best be described as tactile, handcrafted, detailed, and enriched with a touch of color.

From an early age, I have been fascinated by craftsmanship. Studying at Academie Artemis was a natural choice—it allowed me to be creative, develop concepts, and bring ideas to life. Working with my hands is essential to me. Creativity is not just a form of expression but also a way to relax and momentarily disconnect from everything else. Whether I’m weaving a fabric, creating a fashion illustration, painting, or making a simple sketch in a notebook, each process is meaningful.

My fascination with textiles began when I started studying at Academie Artemis in 2017. I became particularly intrigued by woven fabrics—an old and intricate craft that allows for endless variations in material, color, and texture. This passion led to my graduation project, Vincent van Cloth, which I completed in 2021.

In the summer of 2022, I moved to Florence, Italy, to further my studies with a Master’s in Textiles at Polimoda. Over the past two years, I have explored the world of textile creation, learning techniques such as knitting, weaving, embroidery, macramé, and many other traditional textile arts ".
