Colours are fascinating. They tell a story, have a history and come in thousands of shades. Think of the colour blue; cobalt blue, prussian blue, delft blue, cyan, aquamarine, capri blue, navy, egyptian blue and ultramarine. Or the colour yellow; chrome yellow, lemon yellow, gold and so on. Behind colours there is an interesting story, they inspire me and fascinate me. Natural Colours is an experiment on the colours of the natural pigments weld (dyer's rocket), indigo, blue wood, cochineal and madder.
